Glazed Pecans
Special thanks to Delores Castleberry for this great recipe!

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground all-spice
  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 1 teaspoon GF vanilla

Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan, except vanilla and pecans. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add pecans, and continue cooking for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, and stir in vanilla. Place pecans flat side down on wax papter. Allow to cool completely.


Vanilla Cranberry Drops
  • 1 package raw cranberries, washed
  • 8 squares vanilla GF Almond Bark

Melt almond bark in microwarve 1 1/2 minutes on HIgh. Stir and microwave 15 seconds until all is melted. Add cranberries, mix well to coat. Drop by teaspoonful on foil lined cookie sheets. Let cool. Store in refrigerator in air tight container. Yield: approximately 40


Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 2 cups Half and Half (1 pint)
  • 2 cups whipping cream (1 pint)
  • 1 14 oz can Eagle sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons GF vanilla
  • Rock salt
  • Ice

Mix half and half, whipping cream, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla and place in insert for ice cream maker. Add salt and ice to the ice cream machine and crank, according to the manufacturer's directions.
