Chocolate Ice Cream
I made some ice cream with the rice milk that turned out really good. I made the rice milk myself. I didn't do the math, but it's very inexpensive. Just the milk portion of the recipe is about ten cents.
8 egg Yolks
12 cups Sugar
2 cups Rice Milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla
Pinch Salt
2 oz Unsweetened Chocolate
2 oz Bittersweet Chocolate
Mix together egg yolks, sugar, & rice milk. Over low heat or double boiler heat mixture until thickens like custard stirring constantly. Allow to cool to about 160, add vanilla and chocolate. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Chill sauce in thoroughly. Follow manufacturer instruction for freezing ice cream.
