I saw a cool clip on Racheal Ray Show today. It was about DNA testing for mixed breeds. It can tell you what breeds your dog is. Not only is this interesting to know the mix of your dog. It also helps the vets look for problems that are linked with certain breeds. Some of the shelters are using to help determine traits a puppy will grow up with, so they can better place a dog. E.g., if the dog will be big, might not be a good choice for someone in a apartment. The test bought on-line is $124, several of the vets in the local area have access to Wisdom Panel.
