Heather was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 1996. Since that time she, with the help of her family and friends, has mastered the art of living well gluten free. In 2009, her husband, was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. Even though they have been married for twenty (20) years, neither knew of Celiac Disease when they married. Heather served as president of the Oklahoma Celiac Support Group for nearly ten (10) years and served on the board of the Celiac Sprue Association, Inc., a national organization. Heather has authored several articles on Celiac Disease and is a featured blogger at www.OKceliac.com/blog.Heather and her husband, Jeff, are practicing attorneys in Oklahoma City and the proud owners of two Boxers, Daisy and Rosco.
